Description: Blea Moor Signal Box and the asociated lamp hut, plus Blea Moor (Up side) Tank House, viewed from the southwest in winter. There is also a railway snow plough (with attached class 25 diesel locomotive) in the bottom left corner of the image. Virtually everything in the picture is covered with several inches of snow (including the sides of the buildings). On page 35 of the May 1999 edition of the FoSCL magazine, a black & white version of this photograph accompanied an article about the impact of severe weather on the S&C during the winter of 1979.
