Access to the structure is difficult. The land to the west of the railway is privately owned and the permission of the landowner or tenant is required before entering the land. One must then cross the railway by one of the few over bridges. On the eastern side the land is open access which is difficult to walk through, there being no gates or gaps in walls to help make progress easy. The ground is very wet for most of the year.
As can be seen from the image, because of the steep railway bank and trees, there is no possibility of getting a photo from the eatern side of the railway.
