This culvert appears to have been intercepted by new drainage laid at the foot of the railway embankment and the outfall abandoned. The original culvert terminated in the area where the group of thistles can be seen in the centre of the photo. The outfall ditch has also been filled in to the point in the foreground where it joined another culvert outfall.
