A ground frame is a small trackside lever-frame used to operate points (more properly referred to as 'turnouts'), signals, crossing-gates, etc. Ground frames are mounted directly on the ground (hence their name), rather than within a signal box.
SCRCA Location Type: Ground Frame
The following examples from the SCRCA Project database illustrate this location type. Locations are only displayed here if they have been 'assessed' and if a default image is available. The locations are grouped by 'variant' (where appropriate), then sorted by Location ID.
