The following note was recorded by an SCRCA Project assessor during a site visit on 10 October 2016:
Viewing from the road bridge over the B6479 looking south, there is no evidence of the fog hut and it must, therefore, have been removed at some time in the past. There is, however, (as shown in the two images) on the down side of the railway a metal ladder that goes from the track bed to the top of the western embankment. Presumably this was used by the person working in the former fog hut to access and exit the railway rather than walking along the side of the line.
