In the matter of the Reverend Richard Sedgwick Clerk a person of unsound mind -
Upon the application of Adam Sedgwick the Committee of the Estate of the above named Richard Sedgwick and having been attended by the solicitors for the said applicant and for the next of kin having liberty to attend and upon reading a certificate in this matter dated 25th July 1891 confirmed by Order of 3rd August 1891 and Affidavit of the said applicant sworn 5th February 1894 with the exlubit therein referred to and the draft of the proposed lease hereinafter referred to.
I do Order, -
1. That the said Adam Sedgwick be at liberty as Committee of the Estate of the said Richard Sedgwick in his name and on his behalf to grant to the Midland Railway Company a lease of the land in the township of Dent in the Parish of Sedburgh in the West Riding of the County of York lying on the east side of the Railway belonging to the Midland Railway Company on which land the said Railway Company have erected certain snow fences or screens and which land is more particularly delineated on the plan annexed to the said draft lease in which the said Richard Sedgewick has an estate in fee simple for the period of 21 years from 25th March 1894 at the annual rental of £2 and upon the other terms and conditions mentioned in the draft of such proposed lease to be first settled and approved by the Masters in Lunacy the said Railway Company having also agreed to pay to the said Adam Sedgwick the sum of £90 18 0 being the estimated cost of draining the land on which the said snow screens are erected and the costs charges and expenses already incurred by the said Adam Sedgwick in negotiating and carrying our the said management and of the said lease and counterpart and of this application.
2. That the reasonable and proper costs charges and expenses of the said Adam Sedgwick and the costs of the next of kin attending of and consequent upon this application including the other costs referred to in the last preceding direction be taxed[*] if desired.
