Plate 35 is a view of Selside Signal Box looking north in 1973 in which the pre-fabricated concrete hut can be seen to the left of the signal box. Although listed as a possible toilet in the SCRCA schedule of structures, the track layout in Anderson & Fox describes it as an oil store. Also visible in this image is the Selside Signal Box lamp hut (structure ref 244800).
Figure 14 is a diagram of the track layout at Selside based on information from a 1913 Midland Railway survey with the structure shown as an oil store on the left of the signal box.
