Plate 58 is an image from 1963 looking north of Dent Head signal box. The box was brought into use on19 November 1898. It is constructed of wood and measures 21ft 6ins x 11ft 6ins x 8ft carrying an 8 lever tumbler frame.The signal box closed on 11 April 1965.
Plate 59 shows the box looking from the north in 1963.
