Snippet Detail

Plate 123 is a copy of an old postcard showing a sketch of Crosby Garrett village dominated by the six arch viaduct.

Plate 124 is an image from October 1984 showing the west face of the viaduct.  Built of local limestone in 1871, the viaduct is 110 yards long, passes 55 feet above the village and the 43 feet skew spans have brick arch rings.
