The girders and train deck of Bridge SAC2 (which carries the Settle-Carlisle railway line across the A65) were replaced during a full engineering possession over the 1997 Christmas holiday period. Four black & white photographs showing the replacement work form the centre-spread of the Feb 1998 edition (pages 16 & 17).
