Description: Aerial perspective view of Hellifield Station taken from the high ground to the east. The south-eastern end of the ornate cast-iron and glass platform canopy is clearly visible (centre). Also visible are part of the 'Up' platform (bottom) and the upper parts of the 'Up' loop water column (bottom-right).
Date: Not known.
General notes: This image forms part of Bob Swallow's personal collection. Its clarity / quality has been adversely affected by the transfer from print to 35mm slide and, more recently, from slide to digital image. However, it is still clear enough to provide interesting and valuable information.
