This image is a crop from 232491_xxxx-xx-xx_24H_Long-Preston-Station_Context-to-SE-02. It was scanned from a set of black & white photographs in the care of Stuart Dean, who runs the 'Shed 24H' cafe at Hellifield Station. It is believed that the photographs were taken by the late John Porter and that they were originally fixed within an album that John gifted to the late Derek Soames (who was a signalman at Long Preston Signal Box for many years). The photographs provide an invaluable record of the railway-related structures at Long Preston Station and we are grateful to all concerned for allowing them to be used here.
