SCRCA structure 248990: Bridge SAC/70 - Little Dale Beck (stream)

SCRCA Location Introduction

This pre-cast concrete bridge was installed in 1995. It was manufactured at the British Rail concrete depot in Taunton, then transported to site by rail. It replaced the original masonry structure, which had a single shallow arch that regularly became choked by boulders carried along the river bed during & after periods of heavy rain / snow-melt.
