Practical Considerations
If you are considering a 'real world' visit to Settle Station and adjacent SCRCA locations, you might like to note the following:
- In addition to a staffed ticket office, the main station building houses a gift shop run by Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line (FoSCL) volunteers.
- The former Settle Station Signal Box is now a museum dedicated to mechanical signalling. It is open to the public most Saturdays (and on other days by prior arrangement). For further details, see:
