Historic England Archive: aerial images relating to the SCRCA

The Historic England Archive includes a number of aerial images that show parts of the Settle-Carlisle Railway Conservation Area (SCRCA). Following a systematic review of Historic England's online catalogue, the images listed below have been identified as being the most relevant / interesting.

Unfortunately, it has not been possible to upload copies of the images to the SCRCA Web-portal due to Historic England's terms of use / licensing conditions. However, the images can be reviewed on the Historic England website by using the links provided below.

Bridge SAC/35, Tinklers (Location ID 240820) is visible at the bottom of the photo where the road bends sharply to the left. The present Arcow Quarry sidings (Location ID 240950) lie to the north of the sidings in this view which have been removed.
